In the Pipeline: April 5

I just uploaded a new track to Pond5. This one is a little different from previous tracks I've done. It has a pretty little melody on flute, accompanied by harpsichord and cello in the style of a late Renaissance or Baroque continuo. It's not really a period piece, though. The melody is a bit more modern. I'll try to post it here, maybe next week, so you can judge for yourself.

Also, I just completed a new track I call "Smooth Muted Trumpet." This one features a muted trumpet in a smooth jazz style to complement the best-selling (by my standards, at least) "Smooth Soprano Sax." I hope to upload that one tomorrow and present it here, also next week if all goes well.

Speaking of mischief and mayhem, after yesterday's post my referral spam traffic went through the roof. I suppose I should have known better than to anger the spam mafia. "God, grant me the serenity to accept what I cannot change . . ."

From Russia, With Spam

I'm getting a lot of traffic from Russia today. There are a bunch of reference links to a site that says it's soe sort of Internet movie site. And in case I don't open the long link, there are short links that - surprise! - point to the same place. There's a really neat service I found at longurl.org that will expand short links without actually opening the linked page so you can see what it is before you open it. That's a good thing because with some of these sites getting spammed is the least of your worries.

Another Sale and Other Updates

I got another sale on Pond5, this one my "Ambient Ominous" underscore track.

Meanwhile, I uploaded a new track this morning. This one is a "heroic action" theme. And I have another one ready to upload that is a solo harp with lots of ambient reverb.
